Alongside with the new Ipad Mini 3 and Ipad Air 2, claimed to be the world’s thinnest tablet, Apple also unveiled its new iMac 2014 model. The device is priced at $2,499 and will start shipping from today.
The iMac features a 27-inch retina 5K display that Apple claimed as the “world’s highest resolution”, touting 5120×2880 resolution with 14.7 million pixels. Processor type are selective with different price, its either you opt-in for a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor or a 4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor – these can be configured with AMD Radeon R9 M290X or Radeon R9 M295X graphics, and 8GB of RAM.

The device packed a 1TB fusion drive, but there is an option to upgraded this to 3TB. On the connectivity front, the new iMac 2014 comes with 2x Thunderbolt ports, 4x USB 3.0 ports, Wifi 802.11ac, Ethernet port, and SDXC slot.
The MaC PC runs Apple’s latest OS X Yotemite that was also unveiled at the launching. The operating system can be download for free on the firm website.
