Closely and steadily following the newly introduced iPhone 6S is iPhone 6S Plus, unveiled by Apple at its scheduled event on Wednesday. As usual, the device comes in three storage variants, 32GB version, 64GB version and 128GB version, priced at US$299, US$399, and US$499 respectively, with two years contracts. It will be available for pre-orders in US, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, China, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and Germany starting from 12th of September and will go on sale on 25th of September.
The iPhone 6S Plus is a new variant of iPhone 6 Plus launched along with iPhone 6 in September last year. It retains same 5.5-inch retina display, but now has features which the former lacks. Apple has introduced Force Touch and 3D Touch Technology. The first shows animation with sound effect when a photo is pressed, while the latter let users access different functions/options depending on pressure apply when tapping the screen. The glass layed on top that protect the screen has also been toughened to withstand the worst. According to Apple, the protective glass on iPhone 6S is the strongest glass cover ever made for an iPhone.
