Asus has launched a new mid-budget Android smartphone in China , the Pegasus X002. The phone is priced at CN¥ 799 (Roughly $130 USD) while its availability for global market is not yet disclose.

The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat overlayed with the firm custom ZEN UI and features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality with the first SIM supporting 4G while the second SIM support only 2G.
The Asus Pegasus X002 is driven by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the device packs an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and houses a 5-megapixel front camera.
On the connectivity front, the Pegasus X002 support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G TD LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
The smartphone is available in four different colours Gold, Red, White and Black.
