Finally, people outside Japan can now wraps their hands on the new bazel-free Sharp Aquos Crystal. U.S release has been confirm, the smartphone is coming to the U.S and will launch exclusively on Sprint. Availability and pricing details are not revealed.
The Sharp Aquos Crystal, also known as Sharp 306SH, was initially launch in Japan, pegged to be available starting from August 29.
The new smartphone by Sharp features a 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Aquos Crystal is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD.

The new bezel-free Aquos Crystal sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is packed with features like Face detection, Smile detection, Panorama, ISO control, Night mode, and Self timer. Connectivity options included with the device are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2040mAh battery.
