Governor Seyi Makinde called on the opposition’s national working committee not to allow the adviser to disrupt its zonal congress, the governor is of the opinion that the party’s legal adviser has not done well.

He went on to note that it was unthinkable to see the opposition party as the plaintiff and defendant in a case, While stating that the southwest zone of the PDP was ready for its zonal congresses, Makinde added that party leaders in the region were already working towards a united party.
The rancor in the PDP Southwest zone is as a result of respect, supremacy, and leadership tussle between Ayo Fayose( who is an old wine) and governor Seyi Makinde(who is the fresh and reigning wine), and has seen factions of the party to be picking sides.
