British woman, Melissa ker died while undergoing cosmetic surgery at a private hospital in Turkey in February 2020.

3. Joy Williams
Until her sad death, Joy Williams was a 23 year-old British-Nigerian from Thamesmead. She died after travelling to Bangkok to have £2,000 (N935,000) buttock augmentation surgery.

5. Stella Obasanjo
Stella Obasanjo was the wife of former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
She died at the age of 59 of after a failed tummy tuck surgery in 2005. Few years after her death, a Spanish court jailed the surgeon who performed the fatal surgery on Stella.
The surgeon, Raymond Roige was convicted of manslaughter and was sentenced to one year imprisonment.
