Galaxy J1 Ace, Samsung New Entry-Level Smartphone Unofficially Go On Sale

A new Samsung device named Galaxy J1 Ace (SM-J110H), has go on sale in India without official announcement by the firm. The new entry-level smartphone which is the successor of Galaxy J1 that was launched earlier this year is available at retailers outlets with a price tag of Rs 6,400 (US$99). We expect it to be officially declare very soon.

The device supports dual-SIM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box just like its predecessor. It features a 4.3-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) Super AMOLED display which replaces IPS display on the former one. Diving in, the Galaxy J1 Ace is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor (unspecified) coupled with 512MB of RAM.

It includes a 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, while it bears a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace is backed by a 1800mAh battery which is 50mAh less in capacity than Galaxy J1 battery.

It comes in White and Black colors.
