Google has officially announced its VR headset dubbed Daydream View at an ongoing event in San Francisco. The device was first unveiled at Google I/0 in May, but now, we know its pricing and availability details.
Based on Google-own Daydream platform, the headset runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is made ready to seamlessly work with the newly launched Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Google revealed that its outer layer is made of soft micro fiber, this makes the device lighter than others trending in the market and provides more comfort when put on. It also comes with a controller for easy accessibility.

Google further reveal that it has partnered with phone makers including Samsung, Xiaomi, HTC, LG, Asus, and ZTE for readying smartphones that will support the VR Headset. The Google Daydream View comes in Slate, Crimson, and Snow colors and will be available from November at a price of $79 USD.
