Google introduced its Android One program in Africa last month by partnering with Infinix to launch Hot 2 X510 Android One smartphone in Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco and others. From Africa, Google has expanded its program to Europe, partnering with BQ to bring Android One to Spain, Portugal and other European countries with the launch of Aquaris A45 4G Smartphone.
The device features a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor with a clock speed of 1.0GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

The dual-SIM enabled BQ Aquaris A45 4G packs an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, twin-LED flash at the rear, while it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture at the front. Connectivity options onboard are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. A 2,470mAh battery turn it on.
The BQ Aquaris A45 4G costs €169.90 (US$192) in Spain and €179.90 (US$203) in Portugal. It is available in White and Black colors.
