[Android] How to change Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard theme

Microsoft SwiftKey is one of the best keyboard for Android. It is fast, smooth, and it have powerful dictionary, suggestion engine, typo correction, SwiftKey Flow, Bing search, translator, GIF, and other features. Microsoft bought SwiftKey some few years back and has developed the app to match even Google Keyboard in functionality.

If you have SwiftKey installed in your Android phone, I’m here to show you how you can change the theme to match your phone theme for pristine look in this short tutorial. It is easy actually. SwiftKey has simple layout and it is not complex to use.

You can download SwiftKey on Google Play Store if you don’t have it installed.

Step 1

SwiftKey home

Launch it from the app drawer. You’ll be lead to the interface in the above image. Select “Themes” from the options.

Step 2

Download theme

You’ll be asked to login into your Microsoft account (Live or Hotmail). You can register for a new account or simply enter your login credentials to sign in.

After you’ve signed in. The theme page will be visible and you can browse through them and download the ones you like, and then apply them.

Step 3

Custom theme

You can also create custom theme using your own picture by selecting the “CUSTOM” tab.

N.B: To change SwiftKey keyboard theme you need to have a Microsoft account as noted in Step 2.
