HP has announced upgraded models of its Chrome laptops ahead of CES 2018 that will begin next week. The Chromebook 11 G6 and Chromebook 14 G5 are the company’s latest addition, primarily aimed at educational sector and business sector, respectively.
These has stronger and more rugged design compared to their predecessors and has passed military test MIL-STD 810G for durability. The Chromebook 11 G6 features a 11.6-inch HD (1366×768) display and is powered by a 7th-Gen Intel Celeron processor with the option to choose between N3350 or N3450 series, both coupled with Intel HD Graphics 500. The N3350 is limited to 4GB of RAM while the N3450 model comes with up to 8GB of RAM.

The Chromebook 14 G5 on the other hand, features a larger 14-inch display with the same screen resolution. The processor, graphics and RAM configuration also remains the same with Chromebook 11 G6. HP offers a touchscreen model of both device with rotatable hinge that can be flip up to 180-degree.
The new HP Chromebooks comes pre-installed with Google Play Store, which give users direct access to hundreds of thousand applications and games for thorough enjoyment. Connectivity options provided are USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports.
