HP have move into wearable business as the firm partners with the fashion designer, Michael Bastian, to launch its first crafted wrist smartwatch dubbed MB Chronowing.
In all essence, it can’t really be called a smartwatch. If we are to rate it with other smartwatches out there in terms of smart features, we’ll give it 5 out of 10. This is not the kind of gadgets packed smartwatch like Asus ZenWatch and Apple Watch, but it does have its own distinctive value and uniqueness.

The MB Chronowing follow fashion trends patched with a bit of tech, making it perfect for fashion enthusiasts. There are no touchscreen and sensors onboard, but it does comes with a stainless steel body and features a Monochrome LCD display. There are three buttons at the side for navigation.
What makes it a smartwatch is its ability to be paired with devices running Android or iOS for notifications, missed calls, SMS, weather information and more. It’s compatible with Android 4.3+ and iPhone 4S and above.
The HP MB Chronowing will be available in two models, a silver-plated rubber/nylon strap model, and a black model with sapphire glass and alligator strap, priced at $349 (Roughly NGN 58,000 Nigerian Nairas) and $649 (Roughly NGN 108,000 Nigerian Nairas) respectively. It will go on sale starting from November 7.
