HTC has officially announced the Desire 830, its latest smartphone under the “Desire” family in Taiwan today. The phone features a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM. Its dual-SIM variant dubbed Desire 830 Dual SIM is expected to launch in some regions as time go on.

As usual, there are dual speakers equipped at the front, both enhanced by Boomsound and Dolby Audio. The HTC Desire 830 is priced at NT$ 9,990 ($310 USD) and will be available across the region starting from the 6th of May. Availability outside Taiwan is unknown.
