The Taiwanese phone manufacturer HTC, has launch an ultimate selfie-built Android smartphone under its “Desire” series called Desire Eye. The phone touting a 13-megapixel selfie-focus front shooter will be exclusively available on the U.S network carrier AT&T starting from early November, while pricing and details has not been revealed. The firm is yet to speak on global release as well.
The Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch LCD display with a full-HD resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 2.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB built-in storage onboard which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD.
The smartphone spots a 13-megapixel camera with twin LED flash at front and rear, both of which is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos @30fps. The new Desire series also comes with the firm new video editing tool “Zoe” which is integrated with the camera app for editing videos. Additional features include Crop-Me-In and Split Capture.

The Desire Eye is waterproof certify with IPX7 rating and support 4G LTE. Connectivity options included are Wifi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,400mAh battery.
