One M8 users in the U.K will start receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow in less than 48 hours according to HTC. The firm made the confirmation on its twitter timeline, alerting users to get prepared to receive the update.
Also, the firm made it known that One M9 will follow shortly after the update started rolling out to One M8. Though the update is only confirmed for UK, other regions are expected to get the update as time goes on.

HTC in September last year listed out its devices that will be receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates, which includes One M9+, One M8 Eye, One E8, One E9, One E9+, One ME, Desire 826, Desire 816, Desire 820, and Butterfly 3. In November last year, One M8 Google Play Edition received Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
