HTC has launched One M9s, its latest budget smartphone in M9 series. The device was announced by the firm earlier today in Taiwan and will be available starting from 20th of November at HTC web stores, online and offline retailers outlets across the region at a price of NT$ 12,900 (approx $394 USD). No words on availability outside Taiwan.
The HTC One M9s is a Taiwan variant of One M9e launched by the company in China last month. Both sports same specifications and has nearly same physical properties, which includes unibody metal build and single nano SIM support. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU.

It has a built-in storage of 16GB which is further expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card. The One M9s packs a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with optical image stabilization, f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash, while it sports an UltraPixel camera with f/2.0 aperture at the front. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with HTC Sense UI and offers Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, GLONASS and Micro-USB as connectivity options. Other features included are dual front-facing speakers, Boomsound and Dolby audio. It is backed by a 2,840mAh battery.
