The Taiwanese phone maker, HTC, today has officially launched One X9, its latest flagship and the first in One X series in China. The device is priced at CNY 2399 ($370 USD) and will be available in coming days. Global availability is not yet known.
The HTC One X9 is wrapped in a full metal body that measures 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.99mm and weight 173 grams. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it is driven by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. A 32GB storage is equipped inside, which is further expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card.

The One X9 runs Android operating system (exact version still remains unknown but Marshmallow is speculated) with Sense UI on top, and has dual SIM slots with support of 4G LTE. A 13-megapixel camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) is placed at the rear, accompanied with dual-tone LED flash, while it harbours an UltraPixel front-facing camera . The rear camera can capture RAW Image and record video in 4K resolution, while the front camera can record video in full-HD.
Connectivity options included with the device besides 4G LTE are Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11ac, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS and GLONASS. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging. The HTC One X9 will be available in Silver and Gunmetal Grey color options when it go on sale.
