HTC may be working on a new tablet to release later this year as a new device surface online bearing the name H7.
The H7 is just a codename and it might reflect bearing another name when it arrives. The HTC H7 was spotted passing through India database site Zauba, which hints it may be region-specific.

Purported specifications leaked are 7-inch display with unknown resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, and a 16GB built-in storage. The tablet will runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with HTC latest Sense 7 UI, and 3G connectivity will also be onboard via dedicated two SIM card slots with voice calling support.
Wifi-only variant of the HTC H7 will also be available in selected markets. There is no word or confirmation from the firm regarding the device.
Going back in time, HTC launched the Nexus 9 tablet in partnership with Google in October last year which comes with high specifications. Since then, the firm has moved their eye from tablet segment and focus on smartphone production. If the HTC H7 do really make it, considering its an entry-level tablet with interesting features, it’ll make a big hit.
