Huawei has added two new mid-budget smartphones to its metal-clad family, GR3 and GR5. Both device are listed on the company webpage, while pricing and availability details are not revealed.
The Huawei GR3 and GR5 are wrapped in a crafted aluminium unibody that measures 143.5x71x7.6mm and 151.3×76.3×8.15m respectively, both bearing a weight of 135 grams and 158 grams. The Huawei GR3 features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and comes equipped with a 16GB of built-in storage. A 13-megapixel autofocus camera is placed at the rear accompanied with LED flash, while it sports a 5-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and GLONASS. It is backed by a 2,200mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Huawei GR5 features a larger 5.5-inch IPS display flaunting a full-HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcommn Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The device includes a 16GB of built-in storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop just like its companion.
Sitting at the rear is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera occupies the front. Connectivity options remains the same with GR3. The Huawei GR5 is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
Both device comes in Gold, Silver and Grey color options.
