The Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei, seems to have a new smartphone at work. The device dubbed as Ascend GX1 branded with Huawei logo was spotted passing through TENAA with some of its specifications listed.
The Ascend GX1 may be low in specs when compared with other Ascend series but it do possess a large 6-inch display with HD (720*1280 pixels) resolution. It will be powered by a quad-core processor probably HiSilicon Kirin chipset which is common to Ascend family. 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera will be onboard and the phablet will support 4G LTE. Earlier this month, Huawei launched Ascend Mate 7 Monarch Edition in China. The smartphone features same specifications with original Ascend Mate 7 but comes with Sapphire display instead of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The device features 6-inch full-HD display, octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is priced at $710 USD.
