Huawei has launched a new high-budget smartphone in China under its “Honor” portfolio called Honor V9, succesor of Honor V8 that was released last year. Like its predecessor, it houses dual 12-megapixel cameras at the rear with laser auto focus, but this is powered by a more powerful Kirin 960 chipset compare to Kirin 950 in Honor V8.
The Honor V9 runs Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s Emotion UI layed on top and includes hybrid dual SIM slots that enables the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD slot. Huawei is offering the smartphone in three flavors, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, all of which are expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The Honor V9 features a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (1440p) display. It also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
