Few months after Huawei introduced its camera-centric smartphone P9 in China, the company today has officially launched the device in India. Though the phone comes in two flavors, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, only the 3GB RAM variant made it safely to India shore.
The most notable feature of Huawei P9 is its dual horizontally-align 12-megapixel rear cameras, each boasting Leica SUMMARIT optical lens. The camera offers manual control and supports RAW format. An octa-core Kirin 955 processor drives the device on the inside while Android 6.0 Marshmallow handles all software activities. A fingerprint sensor is equipped at the back below the cameras for smart security and authentication, and there is an Infrared sensor onboard for remote function.
