Huawei has silently introduced a new device under its “Y” series of smartphone product in Bangladesh dubbed Y7p, which is another variant of the Y7 2019 with upgraded specs and heftier price. The phone comes in two color options, Midnight Black and Aurora Blue.
Specwise, it features a 6.39-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution with a punch hole at the upper left that accommodates an 8MP selfie camera. At the rear resides triple camera; a 48MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and phase detection auto focus (PDAF), a secondary 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a tertiary 2MP f/2.4 depth camera.

Below the cameras is a single LED flash and a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Moving on, the Huawei Y7p is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710F chipset that boasts of a 2.2GHz clock speed, paired with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The internal RAM and storage capacity are 4GB and 64GB respectively.
There is a hybrid dual SIM slot onboard that let the secondary SIM slot to be used as a microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, GPS/A-GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and Micro USB. It measures 159.8×76.1×8.1mm, weighs 176 grams, and is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery.
The Huawei Y7p is available for pre-order till February 20th on popular eStore in Bangladesh, including Lazada, Shopee and JD Central, at a price of THB4,999 (US$160). Free gifts that is worth more than THB4,699 (US$150) is offered to those who pre-book before the sales period.
