About 300 female students of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in the Talata-Mafara LGA of Zamfara State state have been abducted by gunmen last night, the BBC HAUSA Service has reported.

According to reports, the gunmen invaded the school around 1 am in the early hours of Friday, February 26.
The state government or police authorities, are yet to react to the development.
