Karbonn has launched a new low cost Android tablet in India dubbed as ST72. The device is listed on the firm website and available for purchase on online retailers store at Rs 6,248 (approximately $102 US Dollar, NGN 17,000 Nigerian Nairas).

The ST72 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels touting 170ppi pixel density. It is driven by a dual-core processor (unspecified), clocked at 1.3GHz along with 512MB of RAM. There’s 4GB built-in storage onboard that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The tablet sports a 3.2-megapixel rear shooter and 3.2-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the Karbonn ST72 support Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, Infra-red, GPS and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,800mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 280 hours of standby.
