What’s more? While normal phones may get sickened in too much cold or hot weather, Torque 4G can survive in -21°C to 50°C extreme temperature. The firm also touts its Smart Sonic Receiver technology which utilize sound and vibrations to transmit voice thereby making it easier to hear in noisy environment. Its physical properties is not what makes this phone stand-out but it also sports a decent specifications too.
The Torque 4G features a 4.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) touchscreen display that can be press with any kind of gloves and will still works when wet so you need not to bother about rain. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and packs a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash while there’s a 2-megapixel camera at the front. The Kyocera Torque 4G comes with a 16GB built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card and offers Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, 4G LTE, and Edge as connectivity options. It is backed by a 3100mAh Li-ion battery rated to deliver up to 27 hours of talk time on 4G.
