Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus users will starts receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop update this month as listed on the firm support page. The A6000 and A6000 Plus both runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box when they were launched unlike A7000.

The new update, which will be available via OTA (over-the-air), will brings various enhancements and new features including Material Design, new wallpapers, icons and themes, responsive UI, new Quick Settings, improved notifications, better security, and more. To receive the update, users will need to enable auto update or manually check under Settings.

Lenovo A6000 Plus users in India has already started receiving the update, it is 1.09GB in size. Other regions are expected to follow.
