Lenovo has added a new model to its A7000 smartphone series in India named A7000 Turbo, with bump-up in specs when compare with standard version. It is priced at Rs 10,999 ($165 USD) and is available for pre-orders via the company’s online DoStore. However, the exact date it will start shipping is not known. Availability for global markets is unknown as well.
The Lenovo A7000 Turbo is the third smartphone launched under A7000 series, the first and second known as A7000 (standard version) and A7000 Plus. It features a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, an upgrade from 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display featured on A7000. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

The device packs a 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card (up to 32GB), an upgrade from 8GB storage on its predecessor. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with Vibe UI 2.0 and offers dual SIM functionality with dual standby. In photography, the A7000 Turbo sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with LED flash, which is also an upgrade from 8-megapixel on A7000, while a 5-megapixel camera is equipped at the front for selfie.
Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2900mAh battery. It is not clear if Lenovo A7000 Turbo support Dolby Atmos as its predecessor.
