Lenovo Vibe Z2 and Vibe X2 Features, Price And Specifications

The Chinese tech company, Lenovo, launched two budget Android smartphones at the IFA event that took place last week, the Vibe Z2 and Vibe X2, both priced at $429 and $399 respectively. The Vibe Z2 is a downgraded version of the Vibe Z2 Pro which was launched in August, and an upgraded version of Vibe Z that was launched in May. According to the company, both smartphones will be available in China starting from October, and from there will roll out to other countries.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 features a 5.5-inch display with an HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels, it offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with Vibe 2.0 UI.

Under the hood is a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon processor, clocked at 1.2GHz packs with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 32GB built-in storage with no external storage support. The Vibe Z2 sports a 13-megapixel OIS rear snapper with BSI sensor and LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie shot. Connectivity options included with the device are Wifi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, 4G LTE, 3G, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The smartphone will be available in four colour variants – Gold, Red, White, and Dark Grey.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 comes in two variants, single-SIM version and dual-SIM version, and features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with the company’s Vibe 2.0 UI. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6595M processor, clocked at 2GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM. It also packs a 32GB built-in storage.

At its rear side is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, and it also sports a 5-megapixel secondary front camera. Connectivity options included with the Lenovo Vibe X2 are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2300mAh battery.
