UEFA Champions League Manchester Utd vs RB Leipzig prediction
Manchester Utd
Manchester, once again, surprised the Parisians in their opening match of the Champions League campaign, as they recorded a 1:2 victory in France.
The Red Devils took the lead first in the 23rd minute from the penalty, which was executed over Fernandes, successful withstanding the pressure during the first part. In the 55th minute, the score was equalized, as Martial had the best intention, but unfortunately scored an own goal.
Never the less, the English team continued with their offensive approach, and the reward came in the 87th when Rashford scored another one and brought his team a very important victory.

Back in England, Manchester played a goalless match with Chelsea at home, but overly looking, deserved more in that clash, at least in my opinion. They are positioned at 15th place in the Premier League, yet to reach their highest in this season.
Manchester Utd team news
Central back Baily (2/0) is out injured, as well as midfielder Lingard (2/0). Defenders Rojo, Jones, and goalkeeper Romero aren’t eligible anyway.
RB Leipzig
Leipzig is putting quite an appearance since the beginning of the new season in Bundesliga, as they have four victories and one draw. They are currently in 1st place, leaving behind the Munich giant for one point.
In their latest encounter at home against Hertha, they recorded a 2:1 victory, being the superior time during the whole match. After they conceded early in the 8th minute, Leipzig quickly took control over the clash and quickly leveled up over Upamecano, only three minutes later.
The visitors made their job even easier when they were left with the player less on the pitch since the 50th minute, and with a goal over Sabitzer in the 77th, the hosts put an end to this match and continued with their impressive performances in this season.
Leipzig shares their Champions League group with above mentioned Manchester, PSG, and Basaksehir. In their opening match against the Turkish team, they appeared very confident, as they recorded an easy 2:0 win, in front of their fans.
RB Leipzig team news
The guests are set to miss right-back Mukiele (5/0), plus central back Klostermann (4/0). Midfielder Haidara (3/1) should also be out, while the guests miss a couple of those who haven’t played so far in the season anyway.
Far from a favorite
Manchester got a bit lucky away in Paris, however, their lack of really positive results in the Premiership can not be that neglected. Leipzig simply seems as much more as a real team at the moment and simply with far better creativity and organization within the football pitch. Under those circumstances, it’s really difficult to see the hosts as favorites this time.
