Meet Lenovo Cheapest 4G LTE Smartphone, A2010

Lenovo has launched its cheapest 4G enabled smartphone, but not in China this time around. The firm on Wednesday announced the new device dubbed A2010 in India with a price tag of Rs 4,990 which translate to roughly $78 USD. It will be exclusively available on third-party online retailer Snapdeal starting from September 3. However, availability outside India is not disclosed.

The Lenovo A2010 as at now is the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone in India,taking the crown from Blade QLux 4G that was launched by ZTE in June which costs Rs 4,999 ($80 USD). A2010 head-win QLux 4G with just 0.009 Rupees (huh?).

Lenovo A2010 side view

Lenovo A2010 doesn’t offers much in terms of specs. It features 4.5-inch IPS display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the device is driven by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor with a clock speed of 1.0GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM.

It offers dual-SIM functionality with one SIM supporting 4G LTE and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The A2010 sports a 5-megapixel camera at the rear accompanied with LED flash while it bears a 2-megapixel camera at the front. It packs an 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card (up to 32GB).

Connectivity options included besides 4G are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. A 2000mAh turn on the device. The Lenovo A2010 comes in White and Black color variants.
