Meet the new Fuel OS in CREO latest flagship, Mark 1

CREO has officially announced Mark 1, its latest budget smartphone and the company’s first to runs Fuel OS, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The new custom OS (or UI) comes with unique features such as Sense for quick navigation and gesture control, Echo for auto call and message reply, and Retrieval that auto alert a user via email when a new SIM is inserted into the phone. The Fuel OS lets users fully customize their phone without installing third-party applications to do the job.

In physical aspects, the device is wrapped in an aircraft-grade aluminum body that has a dimension of 155.4×76.1×8.7mm, having a slightly heavy weight of 190 grams. The CREO Mark 1 features a 5.5-inch IPS display panel with QHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution, protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset clocked at 1.95GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. A 32GB of internal storage is included that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Diving into photography, the Mark 1 sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX230 sensor, Phase Detection Auto Focus and twin-tone LED flash, that can record 4K video, while an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with f/2.0 aperture is placed at the front, with full-HD video recording capability. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE Cat.6, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3100mAh battery with fast charging.

The Creo Mark 1 is priced at Rs 19,999 ($299 USD). It will be available for order later this month on CREO website and selected online retailer outlets.
