After much tease and flaunting, Motorola has officially launched its next-gen Moto E successor to join its mate Moto G (2nd Gen) and Moto X (2nd Gen), the Moto E (2nd Gen). The smartphone was un-loosed on Thursday and will start shipping as from today globally. The Moto E (Gen 2) comes in two variants, each with different price tag, the first which support 4G LTE and packs a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 is priced at $149.99 USD (#30,000 NGN) while the later with 3G and 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 is priced at $119 USD(#24,000 NGN).
Both variants sports identical specifications besides the one mentioned above. The Moto (2nd Gen) features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. At the rear, the gadget packs a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and houses a VGA camera at the front.

The Moto E 2015 (XT1505) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box which is the highlight of the device. It comes with an 8GB built-in storage that is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card and there is 1GB RAM onboard to back the processor. On the Connectivity front, the Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) support Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and FM radio. It is powered by a 2390mAh battery.
