Motorola today has added a new smartphone to its Moto series in Mexico named Moto G Turbo. The device is exclusive to the region for now, it will be available starting from 23rd of November at a price of $283 USD.

The Moto G Turbo is here to join its predecessors Moto G, Moto G 2nd Gen and Moto G 3rd Gen. Specwise, it features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, an upgrade from HD (1280 x 720 pixel) resolution in Moto G. It offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.

The Moto G Turbo is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor of unknown clock speed, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card. Notably, the Moto G Turbo is waterproof certify with IPX7 rating (can survive up to 30 minutes in three feets deep of water), a feature only known with Moto G 3rd Gen.

It houses a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture at the rear, supported with LED flash, while it bears a secondary 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture at the front. Connectivity options provided are Bluetooth, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is on by a 2470mAh battery with Turbo charge.
