Motorola new flagship has goes live, the firm on Wednesday launch added a new series to its Droid collections, the Droid Turbo. The smartphone is here to compete with the likes of LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, its exclusively launch on US network carrier Verizon and will be available for purchase starting from Thursday at $199.99 (Roughly NGN 33,300) with 2 years contract or $25 per month rental fee for 32GB version and $249.99 (Roughly NGN 41,300) with 2 years contract or $27 per month rental fee for 64GB version.

As we have predict earlier, the Droid Turbo features a 5.2-inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display touting a brilliant pixel density of 565ppi, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is driven by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC, slammed bountifully with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The smartphone touts a 21-megapixel rear snapper with twin LED flash, and also houses a secondary 2-megapixel front camera. The rear camera packs Panorama, Geo Tagging, Auto HDR, Burst Mode and Tap To Focus, it’s also capable of recording 4K Videos.
On the connectivity fronts, the Motorola Droid Turbo support 4G LTE Cat.4, Wifi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, 3G and Micro-USB. Sensors onboard include Infra-red, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyroscope and Compass. It packs a 3,900mAh battery that can last up to 48 hours on normal usage and comes with firm new Turbo charger for rapid charging.
The Droid Turbo is waterproof and will be available three colour variants – Metallic Red, Metallic Black and Black Ballistic Nylon.
