HP has partnered with watchmaker, Movado, to launch a new classic mechanical smartwatch called Bold Motion. The Watch brings smartwatch functionality to an analogue design, sporting a round watch face, a crown dial at the right hand, and a press button at the left.
Physically, the watch is of Movado own design, but the internal is govern by HP hardware and software. The Bold Motion has a stainless steel body with Black PVD bezel, sporting a 44mm casing and black silicone strap. Its “smart” features enable an user to receive missed calls, text messages, social updates, and other notifications alert when paired with supported smartphone. As there is no digital display, users are alerted by vibration and slightly hidden LEDs that can be configured through an accompanied app to show a certain color for a specific notification. The notifications can later be check on the phone.

Movado Bold Motion works on both Android and iOS. It reminds us of MB Chronowing watch launched by HP in November last year, which had almost exact features. Besides notification alerts, the watch also has activity tracker that can be use to track step, walk, and other recreational activities. And above all, it is waterproof and can survive up to 50 metres deep in water.
It will be available sometime in December at a price of $795 USD.
