OAU Admission Requirements 2022

Let me begin with this.

Before you can even start thinking of applying to study in OAU, you must meet certain requirements.

In fact, the first of these requirements is that you meet OAU minimum JAMB cut off mark for 2022.

So, what’s OAU cut off mark for 2022?

200.

That’s the minimum score you must have in your JAMB result before you can apply for OAU Post UTME 2022/2023.

If you scored below 200 already, then I will advise you to go and change your course right now.

If you scored at least 200 in your JAMB result, then read on.

Now, that’s not the only requirement you must meet, there are other requirements you must meet. See them below:

1. You must choose Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as your First Choice Institution during JAMB registration.
2. You must possess minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings. One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language except in the cases of candidate for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Mathematics.
3. A pass in the General Paper of the Higher School Certificate is regarded as equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at ‘O’ Level.
4. DE Students should ensure that their transcript is forwarded by the Awarding Institution to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for DE Admission processing.

As long as you meet all the requirements above, you are good to go.

Is OAU Post UTME Form 2022/2023 Out?

As at the time of writing this post, the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Post UTME form for 2022 admission screening exercise is not out yet.

However, it is expected that the form will come out very soon. I will update this post immediately it is announced by the school management.

The exact date for the Post UTME registration is unknown for now.

Normally, OAU Post UTME form will come out before the end of August, but it might even be earlier/later this year.

How Much Is OAU Admission Form 2022/2023

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) admission form costs just Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only. There will also be some addition ban charges.

If you registered for JAMB without uploading your O’level result, you can apply for OAU admission form 2022.

Just make sure the result is ready and uploaded before the Post UTME form is out.

OAU Direct Entry Form 2022/2023

This part is only for those who intend to apply through JAMB direct entry.

If you are not applying for OAU direct entry admission form, move to the part  (how to apply for OAU Post UTME).

Direct Entry Students should ensure that their transcript is forwarded by the Awarding Institution to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for DE Admission processing.

For now, OAU direct entry admission form is not out yet too.

I will update this post immediately the form is out on OAU portal.

How To Apply For OAU Post UTME Form 2022/23

1. You are required to log on to OAU e-portal (admissions.oauife.edu.ng) to register for the POST-UTME screening exercise.
2. Login with your JAMB Registration Number and downloadRemita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.
3. Applicants for the Screening Exercise will be required to do the following on OAU admissions portal admissions.oauife.edu.ng

• Update JAMB data
• Upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)
• Upload scanned copy of credentials
• Upload passport photograph (if not available)
• Print completed Admission Screening form

Applicants that provide false information, or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.

Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allotted date and time.

Candidates who do not participate in the Post UTME will be automatically disqualified.

Don’t Forget – OAU Post UTME portal is not open yet, and application is yet to start.

OAU Post UTME Date 2022/2023

The date for OAU Post UTME screening will be in August or September, 2022.

Your examination date, venue and time will be shown to you on the admission portal after the screening in due time.

How To Pass OAU Post UTME 2022

It is not difficult to pass OAU Post UTME.

Like many students will tell you, it is not hard but technical.

As a student of OAU (Pharmacy) myself, here is what you should know:

• You will answer 40 questions in 1 hour.
• The exam will comprise of the 3 subjects you sat for in JAMB UTME (excluding English which will be replaced with Aptitude test).
• Each subject is 10 questions.

Below is my extra advice for you:

• OAU examination is not hard, but you have to be careful with the options (they try to make it technical and set a trap). Read the question again before you pick answer.
• If you are a science student, learn the trigonometry of special angles like sin 30, cos 60, tan 45 e.t.c. as scientific calculator may/may not be allowed.
• As for the aptitude test, you can get the past question on campus or join OAU aspirant group on Facebook and ask for the aptitude test past questions. You can also start studying past questions and other facts now.
• Start studying now. If you study well, you will pass. Don’t let anyone scare you but don’t get too confident to avoid OAU from making you humble.
