Panasonic has added a new budget smartphone with 4G LTE and VoLTE to its Eluga line-up in India, Eluga A2. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box enhanced with the company’s Fit Home UI, and offers dual SIM functionality. It features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with HD (1280×720) resolution and a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz, clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

The phone boasts a 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. An 8-megapixel autofocus camera is equipped at the rear with a LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. Besides 4G LTE, other connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. The device measure 143.8 x 72 x 8.9mm and weight 167.5 grams. It is on by a 4000mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga A2 will be available at online and offline stores at a price of Rs 9,490 ($142 USD) when it go on sale. It comes in Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver colour options.
