Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 with 3GB RAM, 4G LTE debuts in India

Panasonic has launched a new mid-end smartphone under its “Eluga” series at an event organized by the company in India Today. The Eluga Arc 2 as named is a more powerful variant and successor of Eluga Arc released in April. It comes with a 5-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display boasting a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and pixel density of 294ppi.

Diving in, the phone is driven by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 3GB of RAM. It includes a 32GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The second edition of Eluga Arc runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and offers hybrid dual SIM slots that enables second SIM slot to be use as a MicroSD slot.

Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with led flash, while it bears a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2450mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 is priced at Rs 12,290 ($184 USD). It will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colours at selected retail stores across India in coming days.
