Panasonic on Friday has made a new addition to its “Eluga” smartphone series in India called Eluga Prim. The device will be available for purchase at online and offline stores across the region starting today with a price tag of Rs 10,290 (US$ 150).
Painted in Gold and Gunmetal Silver colors, the Eluga Prim features a 5-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixel. An unspecified quad-core processor clocked 1.25GHz drive it on the inside, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM functionality with support of 4G VoLTE. In optics, it bears a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with triple-LED flash at the back, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera is equipped at the front. For smart security, the Eluga Prim sports a fingerprint sensor beneath the home button located at the front.
Apart from 4G VoLTE, other connectivity options included are Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is 7.88mm thin; weighs 138 grams, and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
