Nigeria International Badman Killa, Runtown ends the year with a new single titled “If E Happen For Lagos”.
“If E Happen For Lagos” happens to be the second track from Runtown’s upcoming project ‘ATWWG‘ album which is set to be released next year.
The song talks about the bad state of the country Nigeria, narrowing it to the Centre of Excellence which is Lagos, a state where you can’t get anything tangible without knowing somebody somewhere, regardless of how learned / educated you are you can’t get a job in the government sector except you know someone in a high position, no wonder one of the conveners of the End Sars protest, Aisha Yesufu said in a recent interview that all they want is a country where an ordinary man can get positions in places without knowing someone somewhere.

Runtown goes ahead to describe the government as YAWA, doing nothing for the betterment of the people they are said to be governing. All they are after is their own selfish interest and how to enrich their pocket.
The same reason why the rich is getting richer is the reason why poor man still Dey japa (find a way to escape from the country) I wouldn’t blame them though, as their country favors only the big man and if you no know big man, you no know person.
When you eventually try to make it on your own and be a better person then they try to bring you down, they become your friend just to pull you down.
