Samsung Chrome-Powered Laptop, Chromebook 3 with Intel Chipset Announced

With competition still growing strong between Chrome and Windows OS, as seen in this year CES event, Samsung has again stepped forward after introducing its first Windows 10 powered convertible tablet earlier today to announce a new Chrome notebook named Chromebook 3.

The laptop has a slim body profile of 17mm and weighs just 1.14kg. The lid can be flipped up to 180-degree with no damage done. In specifications aspect, the Samsung Chromebook 3 features an 11.6-inch anti-glare display with HD (1366 x 768) resolution, and is powered by an Intel Celeron N3050 processor paired with Intel HD Graphics. It comes in two RAM selections, 2GB and 4GB, based on customer choice, each accompanied by a 16GB flash memory.

Connectivity options provided includes Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, card reader, and HDMI port. Samsung said the battery inside the Chromebook 3 can deliver up to 11 hours of use in a single charge.

It will be available for order on the company’s online store. Pricing details is not revealed.
