Samsung today officially pulled the wraps off its much expected Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones, the company’s latest addition to its Galaxy product line-up for the international market. The phones are mid-end in terms of specifications, the Galaxy A6 quite lower with its HD+ screen and 1.6GHz octa-core processor, but the Galaxy A6+ have a decent Full HD+ screen and a higher-clocked processor.
The device borrowed the edge-to-edge bezel-less Infinity display from the recent Galaxy S series and the 18.5:9 aspect ratio too, but there is no special glass protection. Apart from their difference in display and processor they packed, the new Samsung phones differs in other areas as well. The Galaxy A6 for instance have a single front and rear cameras both of which have a 16MP sensor, while the Galaxy A6+ boasts of 16MP+5MP dual rear-facing camera and a 24MP front camera.

Their battery capacity differs as well with the former packing a 3000mAh battery, while the later has a larger 3500mAh battery.
The phones shared the same metal design and color accents and they both sports a fingerprint sensor at the back in addition to face unlock security system embedded in their front cameras. These also supports Dolby Atmos.

The phones are themed in Black, Gold, Lavender, and Blue colors. Sales will commence in early May in Asia, Europe and other select markets, but there is no word on pricing.
