Along with Galaxy J2 2016 launched earlier, Samsung also announced a new tablet under its “Galaxy J” line-up in India with voice-calling feature named Galaxy J Max. The device comes with Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max and S Bike Mode.
It features a 7-inch TFT display with WXGA (1280×800) resolution, and is powered by an unspecified 1.5GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 200GB via MicroSD card. The tablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and supports dual SIM functionality with dual standby.

At the rear, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while it bears a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE + VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J Max will be available at online and offline stores across India later this month with a price tag of Rs 13,400 ($201 USD). It is painted in Gold and Black colours.
