Samsung has silently unveiled its next Galaxy tab tablet in Germany. The device named Galaxy Tab A 2016 is listed on the company official German website along with its specifications while no details regarding its pricing and availability is revealed.
The variant listed (translated) is Wifi-only, but we expect LTE version to surface as time goes on. Specwise, the Galaxy Tab A 2016 features a 7-inch TFT display with WXGA (1280×800) resolution. It is powered by a quad-core chipset (not specified) clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It includes an 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 200GB).

The Galaxy Tab A 2016 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with no word Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. At the rear, tablet houses a 5-megapixel CMOS camera without LED flash, capable of recording video in HD (720p @30fps), while it sports a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Wifi, Wifi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery. According to Samsung, the battery can deliver up to 9 hours of video playback.
