After bombarding the west with lots of moderately-specd Galaxy smartphones in the past few weeks, Samsung has moved to the far east—to its home country South-Korea to be precise, to debuts a new smartphone called Galaxy Wide 2, an improved variant of last year Galaxy Wide.
The phone bearing a model number SM-J727S is up for grab for KRW 297,000 (US$265) on SK Telecom and is expected to be embrace by other network carriers in the region who may offer it for as low as KRW 100,000 (US$90). The “J7” in its model number (SM-J727S) also hint it may launch outside South Korea as Galaxy J7 (2017) though there is no confirmation on this yet.
