Samsung has launched its first Tizen running smartphone, the Samsung Z. The smartphone will be initially available in Russia, and launched afterwards in other countries.
The Samsung Z is a single-SIM enabled smartphone with 4G Support and runs Tizen 2.2.1 OS out-of-the-box. The Samsung Z features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The newly launched Tizen smartphone by Samsung sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 16GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD.

Connectivity options include WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 4G and Micro USB. The Samsung Z will be available in two colour variants, Black and Gold.
It also comes with Fingerprint sensor, Heart rate sensor and S Health 3.0 app.
Samsung has said it will be offering additional apps for users via Tizen store. The pricing details for the Samsung Z has not be announced.
