Samsung has finally debut its first Tizen powered smartphone in India, the Samsung Z1. The phone is priced at Rs 5,700 (Roughly $95 USD, #17,000 Nigerian Nairas) and will hit shelves today (Wednesday).
The firm in June last year launched Samsung Z which runs Tizen 2.2.1 OS but failed to roll it out due to some reasons we don’t know.

Samsung Z1 Full Specifications
The smartphone features a 4-inch PLS display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and runs Tizen 2.3 out-of-the-box. The Samsung Z1 is powered by a dual-core processor (unknown chipset) with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, slammed with 768MB of RAM.
The Samsung Z1 comes pre-loaded with antivirus for security against viruses and malwares and it also include Private Mode which prevent guest users from seeing sensitive contents. The firm also boast of its fast boot time and ultra battery saving mode for best battery life.
At the rear, the smartphone sports a 3.1-megapixel autofocus camera while there is also a 0.3-megapixel front camera onboard. It comes with 4GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card and offers Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS as connectivity options. It is backed by a 1500mAh battery.
The Samsung Z1 is available in three different colours White, Wine Red and Black.
