Samsung today has announced Level U Pro ANC, its latest Bluetooth headset for audiophiles and music savvy with active noise cancellation (ANC) as prescribed in its naming. The device is the third of its kind in the “Level U” series and unlike its predecessors, Level U and Level U Pro that were launched earlier, it comes with two noise-cancelling microphones that pick up external noises, analyze them and creates inverted sound waves to cancel out those noise. According to Samsung, the ANC is up to 90% effective and can reduce outside noise by up to 20db.
With studio-quality sound guaranteed through its two-way speakers, 13mm dynamic speaker and 13mm piezo speaker, the headset is able to deliver crystal clear and balanced sound across the entire sound spectrum without any distortion and outside noise distraction, from low range to high range. Furthermore, it supports Ultra High Quality (UHQ) audio, capable of delivering 96 kHz, 24-bit sound output.

The Play/Pause, Next/Prev buttons give users complete control over the playlist, and users can even share their favorite songs with any compatible headsets via Sound with Me functionality onboard. To minimize damage through tangled cord, the Level U Pro ANC comes with a magnetic clasp that keeps the eartip tangle-free. The magnetic clasp is also what holds the multimedia (Play/Pause, Next/Prev, Volume) and the call buttons.
What’s more? An accompanied Level App provide users the ability to use S Voice and TTS features of their smartphone, which alerts them of missed calls, text messages, emails and other activities. The device is also splash and sweat resistant, thanks to P2i nano-coating, making it a perfect little gadget for outdoor recreation. The Level U Pro ANC built-in battery can deliver up to 6 hours of audio playback with active noise cancellation turned on, and up to 8 hours 30 minutes when turned off.
The Samsung U Pro ANC will be available in the United States starting this month (July), while Europe, Korea and Russia will follow. No details about its pricing yet.
