Sony has unwrapped a new budget smartphone named as Xperia C4. The phone was announced by the firm on Wednesday and will start shipping as from June. Pricing details is yet to be disclose.
The Sony Xperia C4 is an upgraded version and a successor of Xperia C3 that was launched in July last year. It is tout by the firm as a phone specifically meant for those who are gaga when it comes to taking selfie. Specwise, the device features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display backed with Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2.

The Xperia C4 also comes in dual-SIM variant which support two SIMs at a time. Both the single SIM version and the dual-SIM version sports identical specifications besides difference in SIM card each can contain. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali 760 MP2 GPU.
The main highlight of the gadget is its camera, the Sony Xperia C4 harbours a wide-angle lens 5-megapixel front sensor with Exmor R sensor which is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos while it bears a 13-megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor and LED flash at the rear with full-HD video recording capability as well.
The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and packs a 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and NFC. It is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
